If you have moved or plan to move since the filing of your case it is important that you change your address with USCIS.
Visit the page https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do and select Change your address online.
You must click yes if you have a case currently pending and use your receipts to complete the form type, the receipt number, and the zip code on your application. Afterwards, you must complete your personal information (name, DOB, citizenship).
You must include your previous address, and input your new address. Select that your mailing address is the same as your new address. Important: Enter your email address to receive a confirmation of your address change with USCIS.
We strongly encourage you to update your address with USCIS to ensure you receive all correspondence and benefits in a timely manner and avoid possible delays related to your case.
Changing your address with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) will not change your address with USCIS, or the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) if you have an active or pending court case. Please update your address with both USCIS and USPS (and EOIR if you are in immigration proceedings).
All aliens subject to registration requirements must use this form to report a change of address within 10 days of such change. The collection of this information is required by Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) section 265 (8 U.S.C. 1305). U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) uses the data collected on this form for statistical and record-keeping purposes, and may share this information with other Federal, State, Local, and Law Enforcement Officials. Failure to report a change of address is publishable by a fine or imprisonment and/or removal from the United States.
